Considering the information presented in the story, a certain remote island in Okinawa comes to mind. Although it’s not well-known compared to other islands, it is an incredibly beautiful place. I’ve visited it twice in the past, and both times were truly wonderful experiences.
This island is considered a sacred place (in the original sense of the word) by the local people, and it holds deep religious significance. In fact, some people who were born and raised in Okinawa say they have never visited it because they feel it would be presumptuous or irreverent to do so. For that reason, I have chosen not to disclose the island’s name here, as I feel it would be inappropriate for someone like me, who is not a local, to present it as a “Persona pilgrimage site.”
